The ART ISO-8U is a compact and versatile power supply designed to provide clean, stable, and noiseless power to your pedalboard. Thanks to its eight fully isolated outputs, it effectively eliminates hum and interference caused by ground loops, allowing each of your pedals to sound its best. In addition to powering pedals, the device is equipped with a 10W USB port, suitable for charging a smartphone, tablet, or other gadgets.
This power supply offers exceptional flexibility in voltage adjustment. Seven of the eight outputs can be switched between the standard 9V and an increased 12V for pedals that require more dynamic range (headroom). The first output is unique: it can operate in a fixed 9V mode or be adjusted from 4V to 9V. This feature allows you to simulate a "dying battery" effect, which is particularly valued by guitarists for achieving a characteristic sound with analog fuzz and overdrive pedals.
The ART ISO-8U comes with a complete set of 12 cables to connect any pedal. Among them are a Y-cable to combine two outputs for 18V or 24V, a polarity reversal adapter, and a battery clip cable for pedals powered by a battery. This makes the ISO-8U a ready-to-use solution right out of the box.
The well-thought-out design of the device ensures reliability and ease of use. The sturdy metal housing has recessed side walls that protect switches and connectors from accidental damage. Special slots for cable ties allow you to neatly and securely organize the wiring on your pedalboard, creating a tidy and professional look.
