The Vandoren B40 Lyre Profile 88 Bb clarinet mouthpiece combines the roundness of sound and the richness of the timbral palette, similar to the Vandoren B40 Lyre Traditional mouthpiece. It is distinguished by a compact and focused sound, as well as ease of sound production, especially in the upper register. The production process of this mouthpiece includes automatic machining of the workpiece, manual sharpening and polishing with a diamond tool, and engraving with gold letters. All stages of production are controlled by experienced craftsmen who strive to meet the highest demands of musicians. This mouthpiece is made of ebonite and has a long notch and an opening of 1.17 mm. Recommended Vandoren reeds for this mouthpiece include the Traditional (2-3), 56 rue Lepic (2.5-3), V12 (2.5-3.5) and V.21 (3-3.5+) series.
