The Yamaha SB7X Silent Brass Trumpet mute allows musicians to play anytime, anywhere in comfort. This system is ideal for both beginners and professionals who need to practice without limitations. Thanks to the included headphones, you can enjoy your game in complete silence for others.
The main element of the system is a highly effective Pickup Mute, equipped with a built-in condenser microphone. The updated SB7X model is much more compact and lighter than previous versions. The mute provides reliable muting while maintaining excellent intonation and natural sound throughout the instrument's range. Thanks to its compact design, the mute fits easily into the bell of the instrument, allowing the trumpet to be stored in the case with it.
The innovative technology of Brass Resonance Modeling, developed by Yamaha, allows you to model the natural resonance of an undamped pipe. This provides a realistic sound that is hard to distinguish from playing a regular trumpet.
The system also allows you to connect audio players, smartphones, or other audio signal sources through the AUX IN input, which allows you to play along with your favorite compositions. The headphone output can be used as a line output for performance recording.
