The EMG KH21 is Metallica's signature set of pickups for lead guitarist Kirk Hammett. This Pro-Series system combines a pair of EMG 81 active humbucking pickups, which are built with ceramic magnets to deliver a tight and controlled sound with exceptional versatility and sustain. As a result, the EMG KH21 delivers the fierce tone and powerful harmonics that are characteristic of Hammett's style.
The set comes with a ready-made Stratocaster pickguard with 11 screw holes in a white pearl color. All the electronics, including two volume controls and one tone control, are pre-installed and wired, making this kit a great way to quickly upgrade your instrument. The pickups and knobs are finished in black, creating a stylish contrast to the panel.
