The DiMarzio PAF Joe is a pickup designed specifically for legendary guitarist Joe Satriani. Designed as an upgraded PAF Pro, it combines the distinctive sound of late 50s humbuckers with modern clarity and versatility.
The PAF Joe stands out for its open bass and warm midrange and treble. It delivers excellent chord intelligibility and high note density, while maintaining a unique tone for any style of playing. Although Joe uses this pickup in a neck position, the PAF Joe is versatile and works well with PAF Pro, Fred, and Air Norton models.
