The DiMarzio UtoPIA Bridge was created specifically for the Ibanez PIA guitar designed by the legendary Steve Vai. Its unique laser-cut baroque gold pattern finish adds to the sophistication of the instrument. Based on the popular Evolution Bridge model, this pickup has been significantly updated for deeper bass response, tighter highs, and a more harmonious sound.
The UtoPIA Bridge delivers the rich harmonics that the Evolution is known for, but with a softer attack and less bright upper midrange. This results in a controlled and rich sound, while maintaining power and volume. Ideal for technical performances, solos, and harmony playing.
