Thomastik Artist 202 for violin and viola is a high-quality rosin specially designed to provide optimal friction between the bow and the strings of your instrument. It is made from degreased and dehydrated larch resin and has a medium hardness, making it an ideal choice for most musicians.
Thomastik Artist 202 rosin enhances the clarity and volume of sound, as well as provides good response from the instrument. To maintain its best properties, it is recommended to treat the surface with fine sandpaper before first use and once a week to restore the essential oils that help maintain optimal friction. It is recommended to replace the rosin every six to eight months.
