The Neutrik NC4MXX is a professional 4-pole male XLR cable connector that is the successor to the popular X series. The model features increased mechanical reliability, ease of installation, and improved electrical contact. Thanks to the updated windowless lock design and a more robust housing, the NC4MXX provides a stable connection even in harsh environments.
The body is made of die-cast zinc with a nickel-plated finish for durability and resistance to wear. An improved clamping mechanism increases the cable holding force, and a polyurethane seal on the shank effectively protects the cable from bending loads. Silver-plated brass contacts provide excellent conductivity and reliability under a load of up to 10 A per contact.
The connector complies with the IEC 61076-2-103 standard and supports over 1000 connection cycles, making it a reliable choice for stage, studio, and installation applications.
