The QED Airloc ABS 4mm Banana Plug is a high-quality connector for speaker cables. It uses patented Airloc™ cold weld technology to fuse the conductor and plug into a solid metal joint with no air gaps, preventing oxidation and ensuring minimal resistance throughout the cable’s lifetime.
With its new reinforced Forté contact, the connector fits perfectly into 4 mm sockets — whether tight or loose. The spring-loaded contact mechanism ensures a consistently secure connection and maximized contact area. The body is made of high-copper-content brass, while the exterior is coated in 24k gold to eliminate oxidation and maintain low resistance.
The connectors support cable sizes from 0.75 mm² to 5.5 mm², are compatible with the full QED cable range, and fit both 6 mm and 8 mm terminals. Color-coded barrels (red and black) help ensure correct speaker polarity connection.
