Thomastik Bass 205 double bass rosin is made from defatted and dehydrated larch resin. This rosin has a medium hardness and is characterized by good adhesion of the bow to the string and a minimal tendency to dust. Ideal for warm climates and summer play. Rosin is recommended to be replaced every six to eight months, as the essential oils that are important to its quality dry out and evaporate over time. To maintain readiness for use, it is recommended to rub the surface of the rosin with fine sandpaper every week.
