The Richwood RMB-905 banjo is a five-string instrument from the 900 series, perfect for playing bluegrass. Thanks to its aluminium rim and tone ring, this banjo delivers a stable and rich sound. The five-string banjo is the standard instrument in any bluegrass band. The Richwood RMB-905 features loud, clear, and versatile sound, providing years of enjoyable playing.
The top is fitted with a high-quality Remo Weatherking white membrane with an 11-inch diameter. The body and tone ring are made of aluminium, providing additional stability and sound quality. The resonator and neck are crafted from mahogany.
The fingerboard is made of ebony, while the bridge is made of maple, contributing to excellent resonance and sound precision. The instrument is equipped with high-quality Korean tuners with a 4:1 ratio, ensuring smooth and accurate tuning.
The scale length is 670 mm, and the overall length of the instrument is 960 mm. The nut width is 30 mm, and it is made of bone. The two-way truss rod allows for adjusting the neck curvature.
The banjo has 24 chrome-plated brackets. The instrument features a high-gloss, clear finish. It is tuned to the standard GDGBD tuning.
