The Cort Earth Bevel Cut (Open Pore) acoustic guitar is an instrument that preserves the traditional look and sound of the golden era of acoustic guitars, making it an excellent alternative to vintage models. It is equally suitable for both pick playing and fingerstyle techniques. The main feature of this series is the use of solid wood for the top, ensuring high-quality sound at an affordable price, which has become a hallmark of Cort guitars.
The top is made of solid Sitka spruce, which is popular for its excellent balance between strength and flexibility. Spruce provides a versatile sound, making it ideal for performing music across various genres and styles. The back and sides are made of mahogany, known for its natural, bright sound with strong midrange frequencies. Mahogany has long been the standard for premium acoustic guitars.
The guitar also features a beveled armrest, which provides comfort while playing. The Open Pore finish gives the instrument lightness and allows the wood to resonate freely, improving sound quality.
Cort’s specially designed bridge enhances sustain and reduces string tension, making playing easier and more comfortable for your hands. The closed tuning pegs ensure stable tuning and reliability.
This model has a traditional dreadnought shape that suits most musicians. It comes with D'Addario EXP16 Light (.012-.053) strings, and its neat, natural appearance is emphasized by the Open Pore finish.
