The Yamaha BB434M bass guitar continues the famous tradition of the BB series, which for forty years has won recognition for its high quality of manufacture and signature sound. This instrument combines classic design elements with modern innovations, making it an excellent choice for any musician.
The body of the Yamaha BB434M is made of alder, which provides a balanced, rich sound. The neck has a new, thinner profile, which makes the instrument more comfortable for both traditional and modern playing techniques. It is made of five layers of maple and mahogany, which guarantees reliability and prevents deformation. The neck's six-bolt butt-bolt attachment provides a tighter fit to the body, improving the transmission of string vibrations and increasing sustain and resonance. Unlike the Yamaha BB434 model, the BB434M has a maple fingerboard. The bass guitar has 21 frets and a scale of 34 inches.
The BB434M is equipped with YGD Custom V5 pickups with Alnico magnets that deliver a classic BB tone that stands out from the rest of the instruments on stage. Traditional control includes two volume controls and one tone control, which allows you to adjust the sound according to your preferences.
The instrument is equipped with a Vintage Plus Light bridge with the possibility of diagonally pulling the strings through the body. This design allows the strings to bend at the saddles at an angle of 45º, which reduces string tension and improves the transmission of their vibrations to the body. This provides a more reliable and effective sound. Strings can also be attached behind the bridge.
