The Yamaha BBNE2 bass guitar, created in collaboration with renowned bassist Nathan East, is an example of a combination of high-quality materials and advanced technology. It has a rich and clear sound thanks to the construction of the body, which combines maple and alder. The neck is made of five-piece maple and mahogany, with a through-body design, and the ebony fingerboard is inlaid with figured mother-of-pearl, giving the instrument an elegant appearance.
The BBNE2 is equipped with Yamaha's custom BPZ-7 bridge, which provides accurate intonation, and has a low profile and an aesthetically pleasing design thanks to individually machined saddles. The pickups – two stacks of Alnico V humbuckers – are connected to Yamaha's active electronics, which include a three-band EQ with an adjustable midrange cut, allowing you to tailor the sound to suit any musical style.
The scale of the bass is 34 inches (863.6 mm), the top fret is made of bone, and the fingerboard has a radius of 23-5/8 inches (600 mm). The BBNE2 is equipped with 24 frets, gold-tone mechanics, and Gotoh GB72 pegs. The tool is delivered in a branded case for convenient transportation with a set of keys for adjusting the anchor and bridge.
