The Yamaha TRB1005J is a professional 5-string bass guitar designed with today's musicians in mind. The TRB series model is known for its extended low-frequency range, thanks to which it is able to reproduce deep bass that traditional 4-string bass guitars cannot deliver. The 5th string is tuned to a low C note, allowing more playability.
This bass guitar features an enlarged scale of up to 35 inches, which provides a dense and saturated sound of low notes and allows you to achieve optimal tension on each string. This creates pleasant tactile sensations during the game and also improves the sound quality. The five-ply neck is made of maple reinforced with mahogany, which gives the instrument additional reliability and stability. It has 24 frets and a fretboard radius of 600mm. Also, it has a 43 mm wide bone top bezel and black mechanics.
The TRB1005J's body is crafted from selected alder with a wave maple top, providing a balanced sound with a crisp midrange and clear highs, making this bass versatile for any genre of music. The bridge is made of brass, which contributes to the efficient transmission of string vibrations to the body and allows you to precisely adjust the height of the strings. The bass guitar is equipped with Alnico V passive pickups with noise cancellation and Yamaha's 3-band active EQ, which provides a transparent and controlled sound. The model offers volume and balance settings, which allows musicians to adapt the sound to their needs.
The strings in the D'Addario EXL170-5SL/45-130 set perfectly complement the instrument, giving it a quality sound. The instrument also comes with anchor and bridge adjustment keys, making it easy to adjust the instrument to your own preferences.
