The Yamaha TRBX-505 bass guitar offers an excellent combination of advanced design, high-tech components, and carefully selected materials. It is designed to provide flawless sound and playability both at home and in the studio or on stage. This model is similar to the TRBX-504 bass guitar. The only difference is the number of strings - the TRBX-505 has 5. The fifth string allows you to play notes that are not available on a four-string bass in the lower register. This expands the range of the instrument and provides more possibilities for creating musical parts.
The body of the guitar is made of mahogany and has an ergonomic 3D design that provides the perfect balance between playing comfort and rich sound. The five-piece maple and mahogany neck construction guarantees high stability and excellent tone and also has a comfortable profile for easy play. It has 24 frets. A precise bolt connection is used to fasten the neck, which facilitates tuning and contributes to an energetic and transparent sound. The unique profile of the neck attachment provides vibration transmission and access to the upper frets.
The main highlight of the Yamaha TRBX-505 is the Yamaha YGD H5 pickups, developed by the California division of Yamaha Guitar Development. Their design with four magnet conductors under each string and AlNiCo magnets provides an open, transparent sound in passive mode and a tight, driving tone in active mode. The massive die-cast string holder ensures efficient transmission of string vibration to the body, adding density and richness to the sound. The direct arrangement of the strings from the zero fret to the pegs reduces lateral tension and ensures tuning stability.
This model is equipped with active/passive electronics, which allows you to achieve extreme flexibility of sound and tone control. Special circuitry with gold-plated parts ensures high conductivity and reliability. The output signal remains balanced in both active and passive modes, and an LED indicator on the rear panel indicates battery status. The Yamaha TRBX-505 is equipped with a standard 1/4" jack on a steel plate. The instrument is equipped with D'Addario EXL170-5 strings and keys for adjusting the anchor and bridge.
