Bass Guitar Squier by Fender Affinity Series Jazz Bass VI (Black) is a 6-string version of the popular Jazz Bass model. The instrument offers an extended range compared to 4- and 5-string basses, and you can play rhythm sections, solos, and chords like a regular guitar. You can use this bass guitar in a variety of musical genres, including jazz, fusion, and prog metal.
The bass guitar's top is made of poplar and finished with a glossy black polyurethane. The C-shaped neck is attached to the body with graphite-reinforced bolts. It is made of maple and has a laurel fingerboard with white dot markings. The bass guitar has 20 Medium Jumbo frets and a scale length of 34 inches.
The model is equipped with two passive Ceramic Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups — bridge and neck. Two knobs are responsible for adjusting the volume of each pickup, and the third — for adjusting the tone. The bass guitar also has a chrome headset, including a 5-Saddle Standard bridge and a Die-Cast Sealed peg mechanism.
