The Cort SFX-MEM (Open Pore) electro-acoustic guitar combines advanced technology and modern design. Its slim body with reduced depth offers comfort while playing, and the cutaway facilitates easy access to the higher frets. The ergonomic C-shaped neck profile enables guitarists to execute fast fretboard techniques with ease.
The body of the guitar is made from laminated mahogany, one of the best materials for crafting musical instruments. Mahogany imparts the guitar with a rich, resonant sound with deep lows and smooth highs. The laminated construction adds extra stability, making the guitar resistant to changes in humidity.
Despite the thin body of the guitar, which is only 83 mm deep, the SFX-MEM produces a bright sound that rivals larger-bodied instruments.
The Cort SFX-MEM guitar is equipped with built-in electronics, including a ceramic piezo pickup and a Cort CE304T preamp, allowing for precise tone adjustment through a three-band equalizer. The chromatic tuner with an LED display ensures quick and convenient tuning even in low-light stage conditions.
