Contact Pickup and New Preamp

The active preamplifier has separate volume and tone controls for adjusting the sound of the instrument. It also features an accurate chromatic tuner for quick and easy instrument tuning and a battery status indicator.

For easy access, the controls of the built-in piezoelectric transducer are located on the upper side of the shell of the instrument. The battery compartment is located on the same side next to the neck for easier battery replacement. The system is powered by AA finger-type batteries to maintain optimal power for quality sound.
