The Cort Core-PE Mahogany (Open Pore Black Burst) electro-acoustic guitar is part of the premium Core series, created using the best materials and components, and is characterized by the highest manufacturing quality. The main idea behind creating Core series guitars was "beauty in simplicity". Cort's masters removed unnecessary design details and focused on what truly makes a guitar exceptional – sound and playability. The all-solid wood guitar has a simple yet elegant look and provides natural acoustic sound.
The guitar's body has a Parlor shape, inspired by the design of salon guitars from the 1930s. Thanks to the neck-to-body joint at the 14th fret and a shorter scale length (24.75"), this instrument produces a deep, rich sound with extra bass, which is unusual for guitars of such a compact size.
The model is entirely made of solid mahogany, which adds warmth to the tone and provides a pronounced midrange. This makes the guitar an excellent choice for those looking for an instrument with a slightly darker and more rich sound.
The guitar is equipped with a Fishman Sonitone pickup, which is located inside the body and does not require additional holes, preserving the natural resonance and acoustic sound of the instrument.
The neck is made of mahogany and has an ovangkol fretboard, a wood known for its warm center and rich sound, similar to rosewood. This combination of materials ensures balanced sound with good sustain.
The neck features a vintage 12" radius, which makes chord voicing more comfortable and facilitates easy playability. The Open Pore finish allows the wood to "breathe," increasing its natural volume and brightness while also highlighting the texture of the wood.
The bridge of this guitar is designed in a vintage "pyramid" style, reminiscent of vintage models from the 1930s. The bridge is made of ovangkol, which adds warmth and expressiveness to the midrange. Thanks to this, the instrument captures every nuance of your performance.
The frets are made of Indian buffalo bone, ensuring better vibration transmission from the strings to the body and neck, making the sound more natural. The open tuners with artificial ivory handles add authenticity to the instrument while maintaining tuning stability.
The guitar comes with a branded hard case that provides protection during transport.
