The Cort Gold-DC6 (Natural) electro-acoustic guitar is a high-quality instrument created for musicians who are looking for not only excellent sound but also comfort during play. Gold series guitars are the result of meticulous handcrafting with the best materials, making them some of the finest acoustic guitars ever created by Cort.
One of the main features of this model is the Aged to Vintage (ATV) treatment, which mimics the natural "aging" process of wood, allowing the new instrument to sound as though it has been played for many years. This adds openness and depth to the sound, typically found only in vintage instruments. The top of the guitar is made from solid spruce that has undergone a torrefaction process to improve resonance and achieve a balanced sound with clear high and mid frequencies.
The body of the guitar is made from solid African mahogany, which adds warmth to the sound. This type of wood has long been used for premium acoustic guitars due to its ability to enhance bass notes and create a rich and full sound. The ultra-thin electrostatic coating with UV treatment not only protects the instrument but also improves its resonance.
Special attention is given to playability: the new neck profile and hand-finishing of the fret edges ensure maximum comfort during playing. The neck is reinforced with two walnut inserts, which increase its rigidity and stability.
Another advantage of the Cort Gold-DC6 is the Fishman Flex Blend pickup system, which offers a wide range of sound adjustments for different playing styles. It combines a piezo sensor with a microphone, allowing you to adapt the sound for fingerstyle or pick playing while maintaining the natural acoustic character.
The guitar comes with a hard case with soft padding for protection.
