One of the main features of this guitar is its Auditorium body shape with a cutaway, which strikes a balance between the large and loud Dreadnought and the more intimate Grand Concert. This makes the model ideal for both fingerstyle playing and pick-based techniques, delivering expressive and balanced sound across any musical genre.

What makes this model truly unique is its triple-scalloped system, designed for maximum comfort during play. The scallops have been developed for three key areas of the top (elbow area, cutaway, and waist), making contact with the instrument even more comfortable. This ergonomic approach allows musicians to play for extended periods without fatigue.

The top is made from premium Sitka spruce that has undergone the torrefaction process (ATV – Aged To Vintage), which adds a rich, open tone typical of vintage instruments. This means the guitar sounds as if it has been played for years, with great resonance and rich overtones.

The back and sides are crafted from solid Myrtlewood, which provides bright and warm tones. This special wood enhances mid and high frequencies, creating a clear and expressive sound. It ensures excellent articulation and detail in tone.

The Cort GOLD-Edge is equipped with the L.R. Baggs® Anthem pickup system, delivering the natural sound of the instrument without unwanted noise or distortion. The pickup allows easy adjustment for any performance or recording needs.

The neck is made of mahogany, reinforced with two walnut inserts, ensuring strength and stability. The double "dovetail" neck joint with an additional screw guarantees reliable sound transmission and improved resonance between the strings and body.
