The Taylor 217e-SB Plus LTD 50th Anniversary Sunburst is a special model created in honor of Taylor Guitars' 50th anniversary that combines a rich tradition of craftsmanship with modern innovation. The first 200 Series guitar to feature a Grand Pacific body, it offers a uniquely warm and rich sound with amazing projection and clarity.
The body is made of multi-ply Indian rosewood, which gives the guitar a versatile sound character. The Sitka spruce top is made of one-piece burled Sitka spruce for extended dynamic range and superior projection. Thanks to the innovative C-class spacers, the instrument gets an enhanced sustain and deep bass, creating a powerful and balanced tone.
The Grand Pacific's body shape is a round-shouldered dreadnought that's ideal for a variety of playing styles. It delivers a warm, warm tone with deep bass and harmonically balanced highs, making it a versatile choice for both powerful picking and soft fingerstyle playing.
The neck is made of durable mahogany for a comfortable playing experience, while the ebony fingerboard adds smoothness and durability. The model's finishes emphasize its exclusivity: diamond inlay, gold pegs, ebony pins with gold dots, and a special anniversary label inside the body.
