The Cort CR250 electric guitar (Dark Blue Burst) is a modern interpretation of classic rock tone and design. It belongs to the Classic Rock series, inspired by the instruments of the "Golden Era" of electric guitars, offering an authentic look, feel, and tone loved by generations of guitarists.
The body is made of mahogany with an arched flamed maple top, combining visual elegance with tonal brightness. The set-neck construction enhances sustain and resonance, while the single-cut shape emphasizes the vintage vibe of the instrument.
At the heart of the CR250's tone are Cort's proprietary Voiced Tone VTH-59 pickups, designed specifically for this series. Featuring Alnico II magnets, these humbuckers deliver warm, smooth, and organic tones reminiscent of legendary PAF pickups — ideal for blues, rock, and other dynamic musical styles.
The guitar features a time-tested Tune-o-Matic bridge with a Stop Bar tailpiece, offering excellent tuning stability, precise intonation, and enhanced sustain. The nut is made from Graph Tech Nubone.
The mahogany neck has a comfortable Vintage "C" profile, a jatoba fingerboard with a 12" radius, 22 large frets, and elegant pearloid block inlays. This setup ensures smooth playability and a refined aesthetic, enhanced by cream binding around the body and neck.
The headstock is fitted with vintage-style Kluson tuners, providing smooth action and reliable tuning. Controls include two volume knobs, two tone knobs, and a 3-way selector switch, allowing versatile tonal adjustments for any musical style.
The Cort CR250 comes strung with D'Addario EXL110 (10-46) strings and is ready to play right out of the box, delivering rich, expressive tones.
