The Cort KX100 (Black Metallic) electric guitar is an excellent choice for musicians who seek a combination of classic design and modern technology. Its body with ergonomic contours and dual cutaways ensures comfortable playability, while the slim neck allows easy access to higher frets.
The KX series guitars are equipped with Cort Powersound pickups, designed and manufactured at the Cort factory. They feature ferrite magnets and provide a high output level with an aggressive, dense sound. These humbuckers are perfect for high-gain playing while maintaining clarity and sensitivity to the player's technique.
The Hardtail bridge ensures tuning stability and provides increased sustain, allowing players to enjoy great tone during their performance. Additionally, it allows easy adjustment of scale length and string height.
The guitar's controls are simple and easy to use: one volume knob, one tone knob, and a 3-way switch for selecting between pickups. This allows players to focus on playing without getting distracted by unnecessary controls.
The fretboard is made of Jatoba, a wood that is similar to rosewood in both texture and tone but is not listed as an endangered species. This wood provides warm, deep sound and pleasant tactile sensations.
The guitar neck features an ergonomic heel with a rounded profile and reduced thickness, making it easier to access the higher frets. This design allows musicians to comfortably perform solos and other technical parts on the higher frets.
The guitar's body is made from Nyatoh wood, giving the instrument a balanced and rich sound. The scale length is 25.5" (648mm), which is standard for many guitars, providing great playability, precision, and comfort.
