The American Professional II Jazzmaster is built upon over sixty years of innovation, inspiration and evolution to meet the demands of the modern performer. With updated pickups, redesigned tremolo system and a wide range of charming colors, the Fender American Pro II Jazzmaster will not leave anyone indifferent. This guitar features two single-coil V-Mod II Jazzmaster pickups that are voiced specifically for each position, slightly overwound for punch and presence, yet retaining vintage warmth and clarity. A bridge pickup can be played at higher or lower output settings.
Providing comfort and speed, the "Deep C" neck profile is thin at the nut and gradually widens as it approaches the body, creating a natural feel ideal for both chording and single note playing. Hand-finished fingerboard edges and a Super-Natural matte finish provide unparalleled comfort. The neck heel has also been redesigned for better access to the upper frets. And with the innovative Panorama tremolo system, you have the extended pitch range of the Stratocaster combined with the sensitivity and subtlety of a classic Jazzmaster tremolo. Designed for ultra-stable performance, the American Professional II Jazzmaster bridge features Mustang brass saddles and an insert lever.
