The FGN JIL2-CL-ASH-M Iliad J-Standard electric guitar in stunning Candy Apple Red combines classic style with modern innovation. Based on the iconic Telecaster design, it's refined for maximum playing comfort and tonal versatility. The body is crafted from ash — a lightweight yet durable wood known for its punchy, expressive midrange tone.
The maple neck and fingerboard feature a U-shaped profile and a modern compound radius (250–350 mm), offering excellent playability for both chords and lead work without fret buzz during bends. The 22 medium frets are installed using the patented Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.), which enhances intonation and sustain through slightly curved fret positioning.
Premium Japanese Gotoh hardware and FGN’s proprietary FJIL-3SSTD bridge ensure tuning stability. A pair of passive Seymour Duncan single coils — STR-1 at the neck and STL-1 at the bridge — deliver a vibrant, articulate tone with deep lows and biting highs. A 4-way selector switch expands tonal options for added flexibility.
The frets are finished with J-Standard Smooth Fret Edge technology, ensuring a smooth feel even during fast fretboard movement. The guitar comes with a branded gig bag and adjustment tools included.
