The Ibanez GRGR221PA is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2021. It is made in China as part of the entry-level GIO line. The GRGR221PA features a poplar top on an okume body. Maple neck provides stability and bright tonal character. A purpleheart fingerboard enhances the beauty and rich tonal character of this guitar. Two powerful passive IBZ-6 humbuckers with ceramic magnets provide high response without mud. The GRGR221PA is ready for any modern style you need – from clean, warm ballads to hot metal and more. The F106 bridge enriches the sustain. Adjusting the height of the strings can be done easily and independently. The output connector of the monobloc is made of durable material and is a one-piece piece to avoid unwanted movement and loosening of the connector, which leads to poor contact or disconnection. This innovation allows you to enjoy the game for a long time and requires minimal maintenance. The GRG7221QA is a sister 7-string model with a standard headstock.
