The Ibanez Q547-BMM is a headless 7-string Q Series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2021. The Quest series features a number of unique features designed to maximize tone, play and comfort. The "quest" in this case was not just to adapt an existing instrument to a "headless" design, but to develop a completely new guitar from scratch. The Q547 has an ergonomic, compact, lightweight and resonant nyatoh wood body. The neck is made of hardened maple and bubinga. The maple fingerboard has 24 frets. The inlay is made in the form of mother-of-pearl offset dots and luminescent side dots for visual convenience. Components include a Q58 humbucker in the bridge position and R1 single coils in the middle and neck positions. This headless guitar's custom-made pickups have amazing levels of articulation and clarity, and their flexible HSS configuration is further enhanced by Ibanez's renowned dyna-MIX9 switching system. The guitar is controlled by a volume and tone control, as well as a 5-band selector.
