The basswood body provides a balanced tone, while the gorgeous ebony fingerboard, adorned with striking mother-of-pearl inlays and Jescar EVO gold frets, exudes lively projection and long sustain. With two DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbucking pickups and a 3-position switch, you can shape your tone just the way you like it. In addition, the switching system provides 6 different pickup combinations via a mini-tumbler and a 3-position switch. Whatever tone you come up with in your head, the RG1121PB can reproduce it. The Ibanez RG1121PB features an Ibanez monorail bridge that uses a separate section of the bridge for each individual string. This provides a tighter connection between the components and improves the transmission of string vibration to the tonal wood for a cleaner, more resonant sound. In addition, it prevents the vibration of the strings from affecting each other, which can improve articulation.
