The Ibanez RGR5221 is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2020. It is manufactured in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high-end Prestige line. This guitar is the epitome of refined brutality – it's the perfect combination of looks, sound and playability. The resonant African mahogany body with ash top fills your playing with a great blend of warmth, brightness and sustain. The comfortable 5-piece Super Wizard HP neck is topped with an ultra-playable ebony fingerboard. The neck features luminous side dots for improved visibility on stage and an attractive satin finish. And when you're feeling aggressive, Bare Knuckle Brute Force humbuckers provide you with high power output and a deep, rich sound. To give the RGR5221 unrivaled stability and resilience, Ibanez turned to the time-honored Gibraltar Standard II bridge. This simple, fixed bridge mounts firmly to the body, maximizing sound transmission from the strings to the body. The RGR5220M is a sister model with a double tremolo bridge and maple fingerboard. The RGR5227MFX is a similar seven-string model with a maple fingerboard.
