The Custom 24 is PRS best guitar. Showcased at the 1985 NAMM show, this stellar six-string was PRS's very first production model and remains their most popular instrument even today. This SE version of the iconic Custom 24 has all the signature features but at an affordable price! This instrument's versatile sound and great playability make it suitable for all styles. Although this model belongs to the affordable SE lineup, PRS has spared no expense when it comes to equipping the tool.
The PRS SE Custom 24 has a mahogany body with a maple top, delivering a warm tone with rich harmonics in the midrange. The beauty of this instrument is guaranteed to inspire you to pick it up and play for hours on end. The unique neck shape delivers an incredibly modern and comfortable sound. The neck is also topped with a silky-smooth rosewood fingerboard. The guitar is equipped with a pair of famous 85/15 "S" humbuckers, which were recently used in the American PRS "Core" Custom 24 models. Paul Reed Smith once said that in 1985 these pickups would be ideal because they are hot enough to give you all the punchy high-gain tones you'll ever need, while still cleansing up nicely. Crystal clear and articulate and without any overhead harshness!
