The PRS SE Mark Holcomb SVN (Holcomb Burst) is a 7-string, full body electric guitar that delivers immersive playing thanks to some unique features, including 24 frets, 26.5" scale length, wide and thin 3-section maple neck with ebony fingerboard. The signature Holcomb pickups deliver the power and articulation you need, whether you're playing complex chords or solos, playing solo or with a band. Other features include black chrome hardware, PRS Plate Style bridge (String Through), and bird inlay.

The progressive metal virtuosos of the band Periphery are known for their technically complex rhythms and precise tones that require high-performance passive humbucker pickups with just the right amount of output and articulation. In collaboration with guitarist Mark Holcomb, the Omega bridge pickup was created to provide a devastating percussive sound and growl in the mid and low frequencies. It's aggressive, yet has a great clarity and brightness that cuts through whether you're playing complex chords, complex single-note lines, or intense solos. The Alpha's neck sound pickup is not like most traditional neck models. It was designed to combine the best qualities of a neck and bridge pickup, with some fat smooth sound, but also a lot of pick attack and phrasing. PRS and Holcomb worked closely together to develop a truly unique guitar for the SE Series line.
