The Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS20 Electric Guitar (Flash Green) is a guitar that is part of the updated Revstar series. It offers design improvements, including two pickup options, new switching patterns, and new trim elements. This is a great choice for musicians looking for a solid electric guitar with great sound.
The body of the guitar is made of mahogany. It features special cavities and a specially developed design to ensure better tone and reduce the weight of the instrument. The glued-in neck is also made of mahogany and has a rosewood inlay. The scale of the guitar is 24.75 inches (628.6 mm), and the fretboard is 21 mm and 23.9 mm thick at the first and twelfth frets, respectively.
Unlike the RSS02T model, the RSE20 is equipped with VH5n/VH5b (Alnico 5) humbuckers, which provide a powerful and clear sound. In addition, the tone control with the push/pull function activates a passive boost effect, which makes the sound darker and gives it an aggressive character. The instrument has 22 Jumbo frets, a Tune-o-matic bridge with a Racing Tailpiece, nickel-plated mechanics, and Die-Cast pegs. The upper threshold is 42 mm wide. Among the controls, you should also note the 5-position switch. It is the same as in Revstar Professional guitars.
The guitar is equipped with Elixir Nanoweb Light strings (10-46), as well as a branded case. The warranty is 12 months for mechanical and electronic components, with a further 12 months free service.
