The Cort G280 Select electric guitar belongs to the G Series, a natural evolution of classic double-cutaway designs. It offers impressive versatility to meet the needs of players at any level.

The body is made of alder — a wood known for its warm and full tone. The flamed maple top not only adds visual appeal but also enriches the instrument’s tone with brightness and character.

The G280 Select features Cort’s proprietary Voiced Tone pickups: VTS-63 single coils and a VTH-77 humbucker. Designed specifically for Cort guitars, these pickups deliver everything from sparkling clean tones to rich, aggressive drive with great sustain — perfect for a wide range of genres from funk to hard rock.

The Cort CFA-III tremolo system is a standout feature, with stainless steel components that enhance sustain, improve attack response, and ensure tuning stability during heavy use.

The compound radius rosewood fingerboard (305–406 mm) provides smooth playability whether you're playing chords or high-speed solos. It’s an ideal choice for players who need comfort and performance across the entire neck.

The neck is crafted from Canadian hard maple and features the ergonomic Ergo-V profile, designed to reduce hand fatigue and enhance comfort during long sessions. The fingerboard is made from rosewood.

Locking Cort tuners ensure stable tuning and quick string changes — a practical advantage for both studio sessions and live gigs.

This model has 22 frets, a 42 mm nut width, and a standard 25.5" (648 mm) scale length. It comes equipped with D'Addario EXL120 (.009–.042) strings for dynamic playability right out of the box.
