The Fender Limited Edition Custom Shop '60 Stratocaster Relic (Faded Aged Tahitian Coral) is a true homage to the golden age of rock 'n' roll, embodied in a sophisticated instrument created by the Fender Custom Shop. It combines a classic look, rich sound, and impeccable craftsmanship, making it a guitarist's dream come true.
The guitar's body is made of two pieces of select alder and covered with nitrocellulose lacquer with a Relic finish in Faded Aged Tahitian Coral. This artificial aging effect perfectly captures the atmosphere of the '60s scene - as if the guitar has already experienced many performances and has its own history. This look not only adds a special charm to the instrument, but also allows it to breathe naturally, contributing to better resonance.
The neck is made of select maple with rosewood fingerboard and has a comfortable '60 Oval “C” profile that fits perfectly in the hand. The 9.5” scale radius and 21 Jumbo frets allow for comfortable rhythmic and soloing, providing accurate intonation and ease of play.
At the heart of the guitar are three Hand-Wound Texas Special pickups with reverse polarity of the middle pickup (RWRP Middle), which provide a dynamic, dense and expressive sound with rich overtones. The Vintage Modified #2 Wiring circuit with Tone-Saver Bleed function maintains high frequency even at lower volumes, allowing for maximum tone control.
The guitar is equipped with Custom Shop's signature Vintage Synchronized Tremolo, and the vintage pickups maintain a stable tone even when used extensively. The set includes a hard case, strap, and certificate of authenticity, which emphasize the status of the instrument.
