The FGN EOS2-EW1-RM from the Odyssey Expert Series is an electric guitar that blends traditional construction with innovative Japanese design. Built with modern musicians in mind, this model offers a wide range of features and premium tonal quality. The body is crafted from alder with a spalted maple top, delivering a rich tone with pronounced mids, sparkling highs, and deep lows.
The neck and fingerboard are made of roasted maple, enhancing both stability and responsiveness. The compound radius (250–350 mm) ensures comfort for both chord playing and fast soloing across the fretboard.
The patented Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.), combined with Xpert Fret Edge Treatment, provides accurate intonation, long sustain, and smooth playability. The guitar features 22 jumbo stainless steel frets that are easy to replace when needed.
The FGN EOS2-EW1-RM is equipped with premium Gotoh hardware: the reliable 510TS-FE1 tremolo system and SG381-07 MG-T locking tuners that maintain tuning stability even with heavy tremolo use. FGN’s in-house pickups — two single coils (OS-2n and OS-2rw with Alnico 5) and one humbucker (XPERT-Hf with Alnico 2) — offer a wide tonal range from clean vintage to heavy distortion. The mini kill switch allows for instant signal muting for rhythmic accents.
This model features a 25.5" (648 mm) scale length, gold hardware, abalone dot inlays, and comes factory-equipped with D’Addario EXL110 (.010–.046) strings, adjustment tools, and a branded hard case.
