Made by Gibson's Custom Shop, this model is a modern replica of the legendary SG Standard from 1974 that combines historical authenticity, first-class materials, and the distinctive sound of the classic hard rock era.
The body is made of solid mahogany with SG's signature slim shape - lightweight, ergonomic, and comfortable for long sessions on stage or in the studio. With a deep Walnut finish, the instrument has a stylish, authentic look with a warm vintage charm. The glued-in mahogany neck with Chunky C-Shape profile and rosewood fingerboard creates a classic “meaty” feel while maintaining maximum comfort and natural sustain.
The 24.75” scale and 22 frets provide a recognizable Gibson feel with tight response, easy picking, and confident articulation in all registers. The HH pickups deliver a powerful, warm tone with a rich midrange that's ideal for heavy riffs, blues, rock 'n' roll, and emotional solos. The three-way switch, separate volume and tone controls for each pickup, provide a wide range of tone customization options.
