The body of the guitar is made of mahogany (mahogany) with unique beveled contours. This design not only gives the instrument an original retro look, but also provides maximum comfort during prolonged playing. The double cutaway on the body guarantees unhindered access to all 22 frets.

The neck is also made of mahogany and is bolted to the body. The «Performance C» neck profile is ideal for playing heavy riffs and speedy solos. The laurel fingerboard has a 12-inch radius and is equipped with Medium Jumbo frets, which make bends light and precise, without excessive string rattling. The scale length of the guitar is 24.6 inches, typical of Gretsch models. This scale reduces string tension and also makes it easier to perform bends.

The guitar is equipped with a pair of Twin Six humbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets. These pickups are designed by Gretsch to achieve the most expressive midrange, clear highs and rich lows, making the guitar ideal for rock and roll, punk, grunge, alternative and related genres of music. The volume knob with Treble Bleed function ensures that the high frequencies are preserved when the volume is reduced. There is also a tone control and a 3-way pickup mode switch.
