The Guild Starfire V body is made of mahogany with arched top and back, complemented by two elegant resonator holes. Thanks to its semi-hollow center-block design, this model delivers a rich, full-bodied sound without unwanted hum or feedback at high volumes. The three-piece mahogany and maple neck, complemented by an ebony fingerboard, features a comfortable Vintage Soft “U” profile that provides comfort during long sessions.
The sonic heart of the Starfire V is a pair of signature LB-1 “Little Bucker” pickups that combine the characteristics of PAF singles and humbuckers. They provide a bright attack, warm midrange, and sustain, making the instrument ideal for rock, blues, jazz, or even modern alternative. Flexible sound settings with individual volume and tone controls for each pickup, a three-way switch, and a master volume control allow you to customize the sound to your playing style.
