The Jackson JS Series Monarkh SC JS22Q (Transparent Purple Burst) electric guitar features a Monarkh body with an elegant single cutaway. The guitar looks like a classic Les Paul, but she has a more pointed horn and an arched top. The body of the model is made of poplar and has a decorative thin layer of maple (Quilted Maple Art Grain), which imitates the deep, three-dimensional texture of the wood and stands out under the glossy varnish. This gives the guitar a more luxurious and premium look.

The maple neck with a Speed Neck profile and graphite rod reinforcement provides structural reliability and comfort during play. The amaranth fingerboard has a combined radius of 12 to 16 inches, which is ideal for both comfortable chord strumming and speedy solos. The neck has 22 Jumbo frets. Another difference of the model is the shorter scale of 24.75 inches compared to the standard Jackson 25.5 inches. Such a scale reduces the tension of the strings, making them softer and more pliable. This makes it much easier to perform bends and vibrato.

The JS22Q Monarkh model is equipped with a pair of Jackson High-Output Humbucking passive pickups with ceramic magnets. They are characterized by a powerful and aggressive sound with a pronounced upper range. Such a sound is well suited for modern metal subgenres, where strong gain is required. Switching between pickups is carried out using a 3-position switch. In addition, there are standard volume and tone controls.
