Electric guitar PRS SE NF3 Maple (Ice Blue Metallic) electric guitar is a unique model in the SE line, equipped with three pickups. The guitar body is made of poplar — a light wood that has good resonance and emphasizes high frequencies.
The neck is bolt-on and made of maple. Its wide, thin profile is equally well suited to most styles of music. The fingerboard is also made of maple and has a radius of 10 inches. The guitar has 22 frets, they have decorative bird-shaped markers. The scale length of the NF3 is standard for most PRS electric guitars — 25 inches.
The instrument uses the S-S-S scheme, that is, it has three Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) single pickups. In fact, they are narrow-shaped humbuckers. Due to the larger number of turns and special metal inserts, the pickups create a focused and powerful sound. High frequencies are transmitted without excessive sharpness (ice-pick), while maintaining tight bass and midrange. For additional sound adjustment, there is a 5-way switch, volume control and tone control.
The guitar is equipped with a patented PRS tremolo system, which allows you to use the effect of dive-bombs and vibrato, while maintaining stability of the tuning. At the same time, nickel-plated PRS-Designed pegs provide the most accurate tuning of the instrument.
