The Squier by Fender Affinity Series Stratocaster MN (Lake Placid Blue) electric guitar is a budget version of the legendary Fender Stratocaster, designed for novice musicians, as well as for those looking for a reliable, versatile and stylish instrument. The model has a poplar body with Stratocaster-specific cutaways that provide easy access to the upper frets.

The guitar's neck is maple, has a thin C-shaped profile and is fastened with bolts. The fingerboard is also made of maple. Its radius is 9.5 inches, which is great for playing chords, as well as single notes or bends. In addition, the neck has a satin finish, thanks to which the guitarist's hand can comfortably move along all 21 Medium Jumbo frets.

The model has 3 single-type pickups - bridge, middle and neck (S-S-S). They provide a bright, transparent and sonorous tone, which is the hallmark of the Stratocaster. The 5-way switch is designed to obtain classic pickup combinations, and for additional sound adjustments there is a volume control and a tone control.

The guitar's hardware is chrome. The instrument is equipped with a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Block Saddles — a tremolo system with two support points, which ensures smooth operation of the lever and stable tuning even with intensive use of this system. The guitar also has sealed die-cast pegs with split shafts (Split Shafts), which make string changes easier and faster.
