The Radial Switchbone JX-2 is a high-quality ABY footswitch that allows you to connect two amplifiers to a single guitar while maintaining a clean, natural, and dynamic sound without noise or distortion. Featuring 100% discrete Class A circuitry, the pedal delivers a warm, analog tone that doesn't alter the character of your instrument.
The Switchbone features a buffered circuit with proprietary Drag™ Control technology that compensates for signal loss when connected through a buffer and restores the natural interaction between pickup and amp. This ensures warm, organic sound even with long cables of up to 15 meters.
The Footswitch has three switches: the first allows you to select between amplifiers A and B, the second allows you to turn them on simultaneously. To eliminate clicks during switching, Switchbone uses optical elements that smoothly regulate the signal and eliminate interference even when working with high-gain amplifiers. To avoid background noise and ground loops, the output of the second amplifier is transformer isolated. In addition, a 180° phase switch is provided to solve the problem of phase incompatibility between amplifiers.
The third switch activates the built-in booster, which allows you to increase the signal level for solo parts. Its volume is adjustable, and a three-position midrange switch helps to emphasize the expressiveness of the sound. The booster function can be set to mute the signal, which turns it into a mutation for silent tuning. A separate tuner output is always available for instant tuning while playing.
Thanks to the bright LED indicators, you always know exactly which amp is active, even in a dark concert environment. A robust steel case and analog circuitry without digital processing make Switchbone one of the best ABY switches for professional use.
