The NUX Melvin Lee Davis Bass Preamp + DI effects pedal was created in collaboration with renowned American bassist Melvin Lee Davis, who has worked with artists such as Chaka Khan, The Pointer Sisters, and Gladys Knight & the Pips. This device combines the functions of a preamp, DI box, cabinet emulation (Impulse Response), and audio interface, making it ideal for rehearsals, gigs, and studio recording.
The main features of the pedal include a 3-band equalizer with a mid-frequency selector, a drive control with blend adjustment between clean and overdriven signals, and built-in noise reduction. Additionally, the pedal supports loading user impulse responses (IR) and allows adjusting cabinet emulation levels.
The MLD Bass Preamp + DI is equipped with XLR outputs for connection to a mixer or audio interface, an input for connecting a music player, and a headphone output for quiet practice. The pedal can also be connected to a computer via USB for editing settings and loading user IR files.
The pedal also supports various USB audio routing options, including the ability to record a dry signal for reamping.
