Leave vapor trails in the sky with the stereo Flanger pedal. The Mercury Flanger has three intense flavors of flanger. Classic flanger offers a deep and dramatic effect in the style of the earliest flanger pedals. The Mercury’s Thru-Zero delivers the incredible twisting effect — characteristic of vintage tape-flange — when the modulation signal reaches its intersection point. Finally the Shadow Flanger offers a highly resonant, but silky smooth tone, with the jet engine “whoosh” that all flange fanatics crave. The Mercury also includes an on-board Delay control to explore that beautiful cosmic space between chorus and flanger.
If you’re the type that really wants to take control, connect to the Mercury’s Effect Editing software (for Mac or Windows) or Mobile App (for Android or iOS) and access a range of additional parameters including Mix, Output Level, LoRetain (our low-end preserving process), EQ, Tremolo, and more. Or set your Modulation Source to envelope follower and create flanger effects in the style of a pick sensitive auto wah. Once you’ve dialed in your dream flanger, you can download it to one of the pedal’s three mode switch locations, share it with other musicians, and save it to your personal effects library.
The Mercury Flanger is also fully MIDI compatible when connected to the Source Audio Hub. Save up to 128 pedal presets, easily recalled via any brand of MIDI foot controller.

- Neuro Effects Editor Software — Download the free Neuro Software and access an additional set of adjustable parameters or download any of the pedal’s available algorithms. The pedal connects to any Mac or Windows based system via the USB jack in the top I/O panel.
- Multi-Function Jacks — Use the Source Audio Hot Hand motion sensors, or Dual Expression Pedal, for on-the-fly control over modulation or any knob parameter.
- Universal Bypass — Select either analog buffered or relay based True Bypass.
