Blackstar Dept. 10 AMPED 2 is a versatile guitar pedal that combines a 100-watt amplifier, studio-quality effects, and authentic valve amp emulation. It lets you connect to a cabinet, traditional amp, or go direct to a mixer or DAW, delivering rich tone both on stage and in the studio. AMPED 2 runs on 100–240V mains power and easily integrates into your pedalboard or guitar rig.

The pedal features a unique high-headroom amp design that maintains full output even with 16 Ohm cabinets. The patented Response control offers three classic valve responses — EL34, 6L6, and EL84 — capturing the dynamics, sag, and character of real tube amps.

AMPED 2 includes four built-in effects: Boost/Drive/Fuzz, modulation, delay, and reverb. All parameters can be adjusted from the panel or via Blackstar’s Architect software. Additional effects like Freeze (for reverb and delay) and Emphasis (for modulation) are accessible by holding their respective footswitches.

The integrated CabRig technology lets you fine-tune cabinet, mic, and room simulation with outputs via XLR or stereo TRS jack. Recording is easy via USB-C, offering clean, preamp, and cab-emulated signal paths directly into your DAW — no extra interface needed.

AMPED 2 includes a chromatic tuner, effects loop, two 9V DC outputs for powering other pedals, MIDI input, and a power switch (1W / 20W / 100W), making it flexible enough for rehearsals or big stages alike.
