The NUX NOD-2 TubeMan MKII Overdrive pedal is designed for those who seek a true tube sound with more drive and dynamics. This is not just a standard Tube Screamer — it uses an FET-transistor system that allows for realistic sound processing similar to the sound of a real tube amplifier.
The main goal was to provide more gain, as achieving true tube overdrive without using a real tube amp is difficult. Compared to classic pedals that use an OP-AMP system, TubeMan MKII allows you to experience a more natural and finer distortion of sound, characteristic of analog tube amplifiers.
This pedal gives a richer lead tone that "sings" longer and also delivers expressive and open rhythm. With excellent dynamics and clear clarity, the TubeMan MKII allows solos to cut through other instruments.
The pedal operates from a standard 9V DC power supply (over 100mA). The device weighs 174g, and its dimensions are 94 x 51 x 53 mm.
