The Hotone Audio Ampero II guitar effects processor is the flagship second-generation solution for guitarists who expect studio-quality sound, flexibility and convenience in a compact format. Built on the powerful Ampero II tri-core DSP platform with high-quality ESS Sabre ADCs/DACs, the processor delivers exceptionally clean, dynamic and “live” sound with 24-bit processing and a dynamic range of up to 127 dB. Advanced CDCM HD & F.I.R.E. modeling algorithms guarantee realistic amp and pedal response, as close as possible to the analog originals.
Ampero II is equipped with a large 5-inch touch display with an updated interface, making effects control intuitive and fast both on stage and in the studio. The flexible DUAL effects chain supports serial and parallel signal routing, allowing up to 12 effects to be used simultaneously. The user gets access to over 460 effects, including over 90 amp models, 94 preamp models, 68 cabinets and a large library of legendary Hotone pedals and signature effects.
The processor also acts as a full-fledged 8x8 USB audio interface with support for USB Audio 2.0, Reamp and sampling rates up to 192 kHz, making it a versatile tool for home and professional recording. Support for third-party impulse responses (IR) up to 2048 points, 50 user slots and a Celestion IR kit open up a wide range of tonal tuning possibilities. A built-in 60-second stereo looper, delay-free scenes and advanced MIDI capabilities make the Ampero II ideal for live performances.
A rugged metal housing, compact dimensions and power supply in the range of 9-18 VDC make the Hotone Audio Ampero II a reliable partner on the road.
