Guitar effects processor NUX Amp Academy

The NUX Amp Academy effects processor is a modern solution for musicians who want to enjoy the high-quality sound of amps and cabinets without using bulky equipment. Thanks to the NUX TSAC-2K (White-box Amp Modeling) technology, it provides authentic sound and the feel of world-class tube amplifiers in a compact form factor.

Amp Academy is ideal for connecting to a mixer or PA system, offering excellent control, flexibility, and outstanding sound during live performances. For monitoring, you can use either the in-house system or in-ear monitors, or connect to an active FRFR speaker.

The processor supports six legendary amp models, including Vintage (Fender Twin Reverb), Classic (Fender Vibro King), Modern (Mesa Boogie Mark I), Brown (Friedman HBE), Red (Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier), and Iridium (Bogner Uberschall). More models are available via the Amp Academy Editor, along with the ability to load third-party IR files.

One key feature is the ability to connect the processor directly to an audio interface for recording, allowing you to get great guitar tone without the need to set up amps or microphones. The processor also has a headphone jack for silent practice sessions.

Amp Academy offers additional tools for live performances: A/B switches for instant switching between clean and "crunch" sounds, and a function to save settings in three scenes for quick access to favorite effects. The processor supports connecting other effects via Send/Return, as well as a noise reduction function.
